Nominate candidates for the Baltics Samverkanspris 2017

19 January 2017

At the Spring Graduation Ceremony on 20 May 2017, the popular science award Baltics Samverkanspris will be awarded a teacher or researcher at Umeå University. Therefore, it is now time to submit nominations.

The Baltics Samverkanspris Award with special focus on popular science was established in 2009. The awardee takes home SEK 100,000 and the prize is given every two years in conjunction with the Spring Graduation Ceremony in May. The prize is funded by the foundation Baltics donationsstiftelse.

The nominee should be an active teacher or researcher at Umeå University who in the previous years have conducted valuable contributions in the popular science field, or in other ways has spread research to the public.

The prize may be shared if there are valid reasons thereof, foremost if the valuable contributions that are being awarded have been made by several people in collaboration. Previous awardees have been Mohammad Fazlhashemi, Patrik Norqvist, Annelie Bränström Öhman and Stefan Jansson.
