University Director Caroline Sjöberg leaves Umeå for Uppsala

    Uppsala University has recruited Caroline Sjöberg for the role as University Director, a role that she has held at Umeå University since 2014.

    "I have really liked Umeå University and cherish the five very exciting and rewarding years I've had here. Umeå University with all its committed employees, as well as the beauty of the Västerbotten countryside will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll also miss the sense of affinity and the friends I've enjoyed here," says Caroline Sjöberg.

    "At the same time, I'm looking forward to coming back to Uppsala University. I've worked there before and I'm looking forward to contributing to its development yet again."

    Caroline Sjöberg takes office in Uppsala on 1 October 2019.
