What is research towards sustainability?

    The UTRI Young Researcher Network is planning a series of three lunch-time workshops which will take place in the spring 2021. The workshops are an opportunity to discuss questions of transformative research, sustainability and cross-disciplinary research.

    But they are also a place for dialogue, and getting to know other young researchers across the disciplines at Umeå University to start to build a network.

    Rosa Goodman, Assistant Senior Lecturer at the Department of Forest Ecology and Management, SLU, will talk about her research on the transformation of the tropical wood industry and what is required of you to work with large-scale sustainability changes. Her lecture will be followed by a discussion on research towards sustainability and how the UTRI Young researcher network can be part of it.
