Call: Gunnar Sundblad Research Foundation

    The Gunnar Sundblad Research Foundation awards SEK 400,000 in the Young Researchers Award, and SEK 700,000 in a competence development prize. Both awards are aimed at research related to the forest industry. The deadlines for applications are 30 November 2022 and 31 January 2023 respectively.

    The Young Researchers Award goes to a researcher who has been conducting research for a maximum of five years after completing their doctorate. The research project must have a clear link to the pulp and paper industry and its products and processes. Interdisciplinary projects with newly established collaborations are rewarded. The recipient of the award must be linked to a university, institute or company in Sweden.

    The Competence Development Award will contribute insights into new process and product opportunities. Recipients of the prize may be research leaders, researchers or research students at a Swedish university, institute or company.

    The deadline for applications for the Young Researchers Award is 30 November and for the Competence Development Award 31 January 2023.
