Apply for scholarships from the Foundation Blanceflor

The foundation's areas of focus are medicine, natural sciences, and technology. Starting this year, there are two categories of scholarships to apply for: long-term and short-term.

• Long-term scholarships are those for which the Foundation Blanceflor provides full funding (up to 400,000 Swedish kronor per year) for up to two years.
• Short-term scholarships are smaller grants, intended to contribute to a study or research sojourn of up to six months. These scholarships may be combined with other funding.

The purpose of both is to cover personal expenses related to research and/or studies in one or more of the following countries: Italy, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, or the United States (excluding one's own home country). Please note that an invitation letter from the receiving institution is required.

The deadline for applications is 1 February, 2024.

The scholarships are primarily awarded to doctoral students or younger postdoctoral researchers (within five years after obtaining a Ph.D.), but master's students can also apply. Applicants must be a maximum of 33 years old.
