Call for potential PhD supervisors to suggest DDLS projects for KAW funding

The SciLifeLab & Wallenberg National Program for Data-Driven Life Science (DDLS) has recently announced an open call for PIs that are interested in hosting PhD Projects in data-driven Life Science.

The call closes January 10th 2024.

DDLS is a 12-year initiative to recruit and train the next-generation of data-driven life scientists and to create globally leading computational and data science capabilities in Swedish life science.

One of DDLS' main objectives is to establish a research school for 260 PhD students that will be recruited by host universities/ organizations/ companies in the Swedish life science sector.

The recently launched funding opportunity is a competitive grant call for PIs to suggest exciting data-driven research projects for PhD students in the four strategic areas of cell and molecular biology, evolution and biodiversity, precision medicine and diagnostics, epidemiology and biology of infection.
