Would you like to receive a scholarship to conduct research in Japan? Now is your chance, as both the Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation (SJSF) and the Sweden-Japan Foundation (SJF) are announcing funds. The deadline for applications is 1 March, 2024.
Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation (SJSF)
The Swedish section of the foundation now announces grants and scholarships for both research and studies in Japan, ranging from one week to one year, from April 2024 to March 2025.
The call is directed towards you who are active in natural sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, economics, humanities (including Japanese), and journalism. Organisations, institutions, and individuals can apply, as long as there is a solid connection to Sweden.

Sweden-Japan Foundation (SJF)
The foundation announces scholarships for research, studies, thesis work, and internships at the university level in Japan. The stay must be longer than three months and can last a maximum of one year, from April 2024 to March 2025.
Eligible applicants are students and young researchers in technology, natural sciences, economics, law, medicine, and commerce. You should also have a solid connection to Sweden.
