21 April 2023

SASUF announces seed fund grants to support research collaborations with South Africa. Last day to apply is 28 April.

SASUF, South Africa - Sweden University Forum, announces seed fund grants to support research collaborations with South Africa. The funds aim to provide an opportunity for the next generation and new researchers to collaborate in an international environment and to develop their scientific careers. The collaboration must focus on finding new solutions and ideas that contribute to the UN's sustainability goals. The seeds provide a basis for initiating, developing and expanding collaborative research projects.

To be eligible, a proposal needs to include participants from at least two (2) South African and two (2) Swedish universities.

Altogether, a maximum of 30 projects will be granted funds. All projects will be supported for a maximum of 16 months from September 2023.
