Research grant from the Swedish Brain Foundation

25 January 2024

It is now time for relevant researchers in neuroscience to apply for research grants from the Swedish Brain Foundation. The 2024 application round is open from 26 January to 1 March.

The Swedish Brain Foundation supports qualified research on the brain and the rest of the nervous system, as well as diseases, injuries and disabilities throughout the nervous system. The support usually amounts to SEK 600,000 and is awarded for one, two or three years and is aimed at projects in the entire field of neuroscience.
Higher amounts and longer grant periods may be considered for projects that are deemed by the Swedish Brain Foundation's Scientific Committee to be of particular importance and high quality. The support is aimed at all areas within the Swedish Brain Foundation's area of activity.
It is also possible to receive research grants with special support from Team Rynkeby-God Morgon Skolloppet. The research should then be focused on mental illness in children and young people.
