French INRAE is recruiting junior researchers

INRAE stands for Institut national de la recherche agronomique et environnementale. It is a public research organisation that encompasses more than 240 research and experimental units located throughout France. INRAE carries out mission-oriented research for high-quality and healthy foods, competitive and sustainable agriculture, and a preserved and valorised environment.

Who can apply?

Their recruitment campaign is generally aimed at junior researchers who have recently obtained their PhD in:

Please note that you must have published articles on the results of your PhD thesis to be eligible to apply.

What will be your mission?

If you secure one of the 63 advertised positions, you will be heavily involved in scientific networks – with around 12,000 people just in INRAE's own community.

Your task will be to address various environmental, economic, and social issues, both in individual projects and collaboratively with others. You are expected to strive for excellence and come up with useful, concrete applications for the real world.
