Research grants from Insamlingsstiftelsen, 2024-2026

    The Faculty of Medicine announces research grants from the foundations managed by Umeå University and disbursed by the Faculty of Medicine, including Insamlingsstiftelsen, for the period 2024-2026.

    The grants are made possible by donations to the University and aim to advance research within medicine and health. The grant can be used to finance doctoral candidates, postdocs, other employments, infrastructure or cover operating costs, but not for own salary.
    The total grant amount varies every year, and the granted projects normally receive ca. 100 –300 KSEK per year. The funding can be applied for an ongoing project, as well as for a new one.

    Application is made via the faculty's portal in Researchweb (https://researchweb.org/is/umu).
