Beta launch of new student web

    Today, Tuesday 17 April, a beta launch of the new website for students takes place. The current beta version contains most of the information available on the old student website, and what is not there yet is on its way.

    Some other practical news are the schedule function and the course overview on the start page visible to students when they log in.

    The departments' own pages aimed at students are not available in the beta version but will be put in place this summer.

    The idea with the beta version is to test the new web and its functions on real target users and in that way detect bugs and potential shortcomings. Students are most welcome to submit their views on the new web using the form available on the Swedish and English start pages.

    The new English student website can be found on umu.se/en/student.
