Delayed local wage agreements för doctoral students and amanuenses

    On a normal year, new local wage agreements for doctoral students and amanuenses are negotiated early in the autumn. This year new agreements have been delayed, as a consequence of delays to the national wage bargaining rounds.

    Covid-19 has affected the possibility for Swedish employers and trade unions to negotiate new collective agreements. Due to this, the local processes at Umeå University are also postponed.

    Umeå University and the local trade unions are still negotiating about the local wage agreements for doctoral students and amanuenses, which means that the current agreements from September 2019 are still valid until new agreements are signed.
