Time to submit nominations for teacher candidates to the Faculty Board

The nominations apply to 6 regular teacher representatives, 3 group deputies (teachers), 1 external member and 1 deputy to the external member. The nominated teachers must be 1) scientifically competent (doctoral degree) and have a permanent position of at least 50 percent at the faculty, or 2) have a permanent position of at least 50 percent as a senior lecturer or professor on an artistic basis at the faculty.

Heads of department and deputy heads of department cannot be members of the Faculty Board. Heads of work units and centres are equated here with heads of department. The external member must have broad experience from academia and / or business and society.

When it comes to the dean and deputy dean, they are appointed by the vice chancellor in a simplified process and the nominations now do not apply to these assignments.

Step 1

All nominations must be received by latest December 18. The nominations are made anonymously at the following address:

Step 2

Thereafter, the faculty's nomination committee, which consists of eight members, will begin their work on proposals for members. The chair of the committee is hold by Elisabeth Sauer-Eriksson at the Department of Chemistry. Voting will take place in the spring. Eligible to vote are the same persons who are eligible as candidates to the board.
