Research Ethics for Postdocs and Researchers

In a joint initiative, the seven faculties of medical sciences in Sweden have developed a web training module to raise awareness about research ethics and to emphasize ethical conduct in research.

"Research Ethics for Postdocs and Researchers in Medicine" is intended for graduate researchers who have their PhD degree from a country outside of Sweden, and are planning to conduct research within health and medical sciences in Sweden, but it is also developed to be of relevance for other researchers in these fields who wish to update their knowledge about research ethics.

However, it should be noted that it is not intended to be part of the PhD-student education programs at universities in Sweden.

The aim is to give an overview of research ethics and to introduce ethical guidelines and regulations that researchers in Sweden are obliged to adhere to. The course is carried out completely online.
