New procedure to apply for Umu card

During November the new portal for the Umu card will open where staff and students can order and manage their Umu card.

At the end of November, the procedure for applying for the Umu card changes. When the employee or student has activated their Umu ID at ITS, they log in to the Umu card portal with their Umu ID credentials and follow the instructions there to order the Umu card.

You who already have an Umu card can continue to use your existing card as usual. If you are both an employee and a student, you will receive an additional card, so that you have one card as a student and one card as an employee.

When the new Umu card portal opens, everyone with an Umu card will have access to self-service where you can change your PIN, block your card and more.

In 2023, it is planned that all Umu cards will be replaced. You will receive information when you can collect your new card.
