Report data in Ladok by 13 January

24 November 2022

Friday 13 January 2023 is the final deadline to report data in Ladok for 2022. This date applies for registration and results for education on first-, second- and third-cycle levels.

This time, it is particularly important to adhere to the deadline as the prognosis for the 2022 number of full-time equivalents and annual performance equivalents indicates a reduction. This means that Umeå University is not filling the education capacity that the Swedish Government has allocated funding for, which will lead to a reduction in allocated funding for Umeå University.

Funding that Umeå University receives for first- and second-cycle courses and study programmes is based primarily on the number of full-time equivalents and annual performance equivalents. A condition for obtaining this funding is that the University reports the number of full-time equivalents and annual performance equivalents to the Government, which is something that needs to be done with a short deadline.

It is essential that regulations on the reporting in Ladok are followed for Umeå University's annual report to be as accurate as possible, and for the University to receive accurate government allocation for education on first- and second-cycle levels.

  • 13 January 2023 at 17:00 is the deadline for reporting registration and results of full-time equivalents and annual performance equivalents in Ladok for 2022.
  • 13 January 2023 at 17:00 is also the deadline for the registration in Ladok of doctoral students in third-cycle education (doctoral studies) and their activities for 2022.

Beside what is stated above, registration on a course must take place in conjunction with the start of the semester and must be reported in Ladok no later than three days after the student has notified their registration.

Furthermore, grading for full courses and grading for modules must be documented in Ladok no later than 25 working days after the final examination date of the course or module. This is further explained and stipulated in Regulation for first- and second-cycle study administration
