What is the purpose and goal of the activity?

"The aim is to lower the threshold for researchers to ask for help and support in the application process for external research. The goal is to reach out to more researchers who need support with such applications or find the right financier."

When will you be at KBC?

"Every other Thursday at 10-12 (even weeks)."

Who can get advice from you?

"Everyone is welcome; researchers, teachers and administrators."

What can you help with?

"I can identify calls for proposals, improve applications and answer questions regarding budget issues, and provide information about what we offer for support at our unit. You can also get in-depth help at a later appointment.

What are common questions you get and who is a typical visitor?

"A researcher who wants to improve their application or find a suitable call for their research idea."

What do you normally do when you're not sitting by a table at the KBC cafeteria?

"I work with research support at other locations at Umeå University. The office for research support and collaboration is located in the university administration building and everyone is welcome to stop by where you want support or contact us at RSO@umu.se. It is also fine to contact me by phone."
