Two receive funding from the Cancer Foundation

    Two researchers at Umeå University receive grants from the Cancer Foundation at the latest distribution. In both cases, the funds will be used from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026.

    In the Postdoctoral position category, Julius Semenas, Department of Medical Bioscience, receives SEK 2,202,000 for Using liquid biopsy biomarkers for early prediction of metastasis subtype and treatment response in prostate cancer patients.
    Sara Sophia Harlid, Department of Radiation Sciences, receives SEK 2,400,000 in grants for research school for Biobank-based research in precision medicine.
