Swedish Research Council's needs inventory of research infrastructure

    The Swedish Research Council's needs inventory of research infrastructure of national importance opens soon. The inventory is performed every other year and conducted this year between 4 October - 7 November.

    The outcome of the needs inventory subsequently forms the basis for prioritizations for the Swedish Research Council's call for funding support for research infrastructure in 2025. The needs for subject areas can be submitted by representatives of the University leaderships or of the research groups.

    Since future infrastructure is part of the strategic work at both the Faculties of Medicine and Science and Technology at Umeå University, researchers who plan to submit a proposal should no later than 1 October inform Richard Lundmark (Medicine), or Johan Olofsson (Science and Technology).

    Two changes to this years needs' inventory

    The Swedish Research Councils is holding an information meeting (digital) about the inventory on 12 September, 13.00-15.00 CET.
