Do you love skiing and team-working with your colleagues? If so, you won't want to miss the KBC Stafetten, the ultimate ski relay event for Umeå University and SLU staff, PhD students, and postdocs.
On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, grab your skis and your best buddies and head to the meadows below SLU and Teknikhuset for a morning of friendly competition and wellness. You'll need a mixed team of four people to complete the relay, which consists of four laps of about 1 kilometre each. Don't worry if you're not a pro skier - this event is open to everyone, from beginners to experts!
The KBC Stafetten is not only about speed, but also about style and creativity. The fastest teams in each class (relay race and "slagskepp") will receive prizes, but so will the team with the best team outfit. So, feel free to dress up, accessorize, or coordinate your costumes with your teammates. Let your creativity run wild!
