Update the validity of your Umu card

    Your Umu card is valid for three years before it needs to be updated. Many employees had their first Umu cards in summer or autumn 2014, which makes it high time to update the card.

    The Umu card is used to access buildings and use printers. As an employee, you need to update the validity of your Umu card every three years. Many employees had their first Umu card in summer or autumn 2014, which makes it high time to update the card. To avoid queues at Infocenter in August and September, you can update your card before the summer by simply taking your card to Infocenter in the Universum Building.


    At Infocenter, you will find two updating printers to update the validity of your card. The validity needs to be in date for the Umu card to function. If you have changed unit, office or department, you should also update your card to make the organisation number correct. This is also done in the same printers.
