New website provides advice on AI in education and examination

    A new website can be found on Aurora with advice on how teachers can relate to artificial intelligence, AI, (such as Chat GPT) in teaching and examination.

    These advice and guidelines were developed on behalf of Strategic Council for Education, USR, by a specially appointed working group. The group consisted of faculty directors of studies from all faculties including Umeå School of Education, excellent teachers, Student service office, university librarian, university lawyer, educational developers and IT educators. The director of the Centre for Educational Decelopment, UPL, has been the convener of the work.

    As development in the field of generative AI happens quickly, the website will need to be updated as more knowledge is created and more experience is gained.
