Collaboration site for student work that contains sensitive personal data

    Students can now manage their student work that contains sensitive personal data in a customized collaboration site in Teams in Microsoft 365. The responsible teacher or supervisor orders the site.

    The collaboration site, which is available in Teams, is adapted to handle sensitive personal data. Several security measures have been taken to ensure that the information in the area is not spread to unauthorized people. This means that some functionality is limited.

    The adapted collaboration area is for students and their student work that contain sensitive personal data and should not be used for other purposes. It is the responsible employee, usually a teacher, supervisor or administrator, who orders the site.

    Student work that does not contain sensitive personal data can be handled in a regular team in Teams.
