UCMR söker en forskningssamordnare för ett tidsbegränsat uppdrag. Uppdraget riktar sig enbart till anställda vid Umeå universitet och sträcker sig under en period av sex månader, med möjlighet till förlängning. Anmäl intresse senast 6 mars.

For the assignment, you are required to have a master degree preferably in life science or related field with permanent employment at Umeå University. The work is linked to the management of the Umeå Centre for Microbial Research (UCMR) and requires excellent management skills and the desire to work in a fast pace.
The tasks include coordination of several different activities associated with the mission of UCMR, including: i) to support the UCMR leadership in developing and implementing a wide range of networking activities; ii) to communicate internally and externally the UCMR research and other activities to diverse audiences; iii) to organize UCMR events and carry out the administrative work.
Key qualifications for the role include a strong skill in science communication and research management in combination with a good understanding of the UCMR research areas; excellence in communicating complex scientific matters to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, both in English and in Swedish; strong ability to produce science-related and strategic texts.
