PhD Masterclass with Joan Martinez-Alier on “Political Ecology in the Arctic”

    The Holberg Prize is offering scholarships to five PhD candidates in the Nordic countries to participate in a Masterclass with the 2023 Holberg Laureate Joan Martinez-Alier in Bergen, Norway, on June 7.

    The topic is "Political Ecology in the Arctic" and we encourage applications from a broad range of disciplines within humanities, social science, law or theology.

    Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered, and the selected participants will also be invited to other events during the Holberg Week – June 6-9.

    The deadline for applications is 20 April 2023.
