Welcome to nominate new candidates for Deans and the Faculty Board

The current term of office for the members of the Faculty Board expires on June 30, 2021. The new term of office applies from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025.

You who are employed at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities can nominate: Dean, Vice Dean, 6 members to the faculty board, and an external member to the faculty board.

• The persons nominated for Dean and Vice Dean must have documented leadership experiences and be permanent professors or university lecturers in the science fields within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
• The persons nominated as members of the Faculty Board shall be scientifically competent teachers with permanent employment at Umeå University, i.e. permanently employed university lecturers, professors and other PhD teachers.
• The person nominated as an external member of the Faculty Board must have broad experience from academia and/or business and society.

Note that head of departments and deputy head of departments, cannot be members of the faculty board.

Nominations must be submitted no later than December 18 at 12 pm
