Zoom for e-meetings

    Zoom is Umeå university's primary e-meeting service for education. This workshop will give you an introduction to the programme and you will have the opportunity to try the different functions of Zoom.

    The workshop is held online and consists of two parts. The first part is an introduction. You will be invited to join a Zoom meeting and learn more about how to use Zoom and basic functions you need to know get started.

    Part two of the workshop is more in-depth and focuses on how to use Zoom for teaching and learning. You will learn more about functions such as chat, polls and breakout rooms. During this part of the workshop you will be able to try functions on your own and there will be plenty of time for questions. You will get access to all the material presented during the workshop and useful links and guides.

    Before the workshop you need to download Zoom and log in using your Umu-id. A link to the workshop will be sent to you via email.
