Umeå University does not own any premises and instead rents them centrally. Our properties are mostly owned by Akademiska Hus, but we also rent from several other property owners, including Balticgruppen and Västerbotten County Council. The Building Office and the Campus Services Office are responsible for ensuring that the premises are maintained, adapted and developed according to the university's needs.

Services in the buildings

All employees and students at Umeå University have access to various services, such as janitorial and building services. You may find information about these services in the menu. If you have questions or comments about the services, contact the FM manager for your building.

Error reports

When reporting a problem or error, you should either contact the Infocenter or the property owner, depending on what the error/problem is and in which building it occurred. Read more on the page Error reports.

Lost property

Lost property is handed over to Campus Services Office or to Infocenter. Once a month Campus Services Office in each building hands over lost property to Infocenter.
