Access university systems remotely with VPN

If you are not on campus but need to access university services, you can use VPN - Virtual Private Network.

How does VPN work?

By using a VPN, you can access all systems and services that are restricted to on-campus use – even if you are not on campus. When you use VPN, a tunnel is created over the internet so that your computer gets an IP number on the university's network. All traffic is automatically sent through the tunnel and is encrypted so that no unauthorized person can access the information.

With a VPN, you ensure that no one eavesdrops on what is sent to or from your computer or phone. VPN should only be used when you are off campus.
